Ocean County College’s Student Life Office and Helping Hands Food Pantry presents this year’s Clubs For a Cause Renaissance Faire on Wednesday, April 22 from 12 to 4 p.m.
The faire will be held within the John and Judith Larson Student Center and on the Campus Mall. The event will be open to all individuals on campus. There are no admissions fees, though some vendors may charge for participation or goods.
Students are encouraged to wear Renaissance or fantasy inspired clothing. Activities as well as informational tables will be stationed around the area. These tables are hosted by the college’s clubs and organizations.
Attendees can connect with peers and find out about new opportunities within the college. Besides a focus on college life, this event is held to spread awareness of food insecurity within Ocean County. OCC’s Helping Hands Food Pantry will be hosting a fundraiser in conjunction with the faire. The pantry will be looking for volunteers and donations to help them continue their work on campus.
All questions or concerns can be addressed to the Student Life Office by emailing [email protected] or by visiting their offices on the first and second floors of the Student Center.
