The Jay and Linda Grunin Center, in conjunction with the Ballet for Young Audiences, presents “The Nutcracker,” with two shows on Dec. 13.
Originally written by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “The Nutcracker” tells the story of Clara, who is drawn into a magical world by her godfather’s Christmas gift, the titular nutcracker.
These performances by the Ballet for Young Audiences have been designated as “child-friendly,” allowing for an adjusted performance. The Grunin Center states these showings are “narrated to help young ballet enthusiasts enjoy the performance.”
“The Nutcracker” will be performed twice, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Both performances are on the Main Stage in Building 11A. Tickets cost $19 for adults, and $16 for children. Tickets are sold at the Grunin Center Box Office, or online at www.grunincenter.org.
