New Films in April

There will be a wide variety of films to be released this April. Here is a quick selection of films, ranging from different genres, that are soon to premiere.
“Fist of the Condor” is a Spanish film about 16th century Incas who are challenged to protect their fighting technique from the wrong hands. This adventure film is written and directed by Ernesto Díaz Espinoza. It will feature Marko Zaror and Fernanda Urrejola and will premiere on April 4, 2023.
“On a Wing and a Prayer” is the story of a pilot who unexpectedly dies mid-flight, forcing a passenger to take over. This drama is written by Brian Egeston and produced by Roma Downey, Autumn Bailey-Ford and Karl Horstmann. It will be featuring Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham and will premiere on April 5, 2023.
“Chupa” is the story of Alex, a teenager who discovers a young chupacabra which lives in his grandfather’s shed. Alex must work together with his family to protect the mythical creature. This adventure film is written and directed by Jonás Cuarón. This film will feature Evan Whitten and Julio Cesar Cedillo and will premiere on April 7, 2023.
“Sweetwater” is based off of the true story behind Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton, the first African-American to play for the NBA. This sports film is written and directed by Martin Guigui. This film will feature Everett Osborne, Wood Harris, and James Caan and will premiere on April 14, 2023.
“The Pope’s Exorcist” is based on the anecdotes of Father Gabriel Amorth, A Vatican priest who performed over 100,00 exorcisms. This horror film was written by Michael Petroni and is directed by Julius Avery. The film will feature Russel Crowe and Franco Nero and will premiere on April 14, 2023.
