The Ocean County College’s Grunin Center for the Arts is presenting The Ballet for Young Audiences’ production of “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, Dec. 18 with two showtimes at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for children, and $8 to livestream the event. Please note that the show will only be livestreamed during the 4 p.m. showtime. In-person tickets will be sold in socially-distanced pods. Livestream tickets are subject to one viewing device per ticket. Tickets can be purchased at grunincenter.org.

“The Nutcracker” tells the story of a young girl, Clara, on the brink of womanhood whose dreams are both childlike and tinged with romance. She is the favorite godchild of Herr Drosselmeyer, a mysterious clockmaker, who helps to transport Clara and her Nutcracker Prince to a special realm.
