The Honey Dewdrops will be performing on tour at the Gia Maione Prima Studio Theater, located in building 12 on the Ocean County College campus,  on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7p.m..

The band, which consists of Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, are performing in celebration of their ninth year touring full time.

Tickets start at $17 for senior citizens and $20 for adults. They will be sold in socially distanced pods. The concert is being funded by the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation along with help from the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Honey Dewdrops, initially from Virginia, settled down in Baltimore after two years on the road, and began work on their fourth full-length album, “Tangled Country.” Acoustic Guitar Magazine describes the album as “a handcrafted sound centered on swarming harmonies and acoustic guitars that churn like a paddlewheel and shimmer like heat waves on the highway.”
