Free Hometown Security Seminar at OCC

The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, in collaboration with the Governmental Affairs Institute of Ocean County College, will host a Hometown Security Seminar on Tuesday, March 24, from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in the Technology Building Lecture Hall on the College’s Main Campus in Toms River.

 This event is free and open to the public.

 Representatives from the NJOHSP, New Jersey State Police, U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security, and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office will discuss the current threat environment, security awareness and protective measures, and community preparedness resources. 

NJOHSP’s Hometown Security program is a collaborative effort to discuss tools and resources that help strengthen the security and resilience of communities across New Jersey. Community members will engage with federal, state, and local partners to enhance information sharing and build preparedness capabilities.
