Tyler Okonma, known professionally as Tyler, the Creator, released his eighth studio album “Chromakopia” early Monday morning.
The album, released through Columbia Records, contains 14 tracks, and features artists such as Daniel Caesar, Childish Gambino, SchHoolboy Q and Lil Wayne. The album also features narration from his mother, Bonita Smith.
“Chromakopia” is a follow-up to his seventh studio album, “Call Me If You Get Lost,” which won Best Rap Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, and Album of the Year at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards.
The album was supported by one single: “Noid,” which was released alongside a music video on Oct. 21, along with promotional videos for the tracks “St. Chroma” and “Thought I Was Dead.”
Chromakopia: the World Tour was announced on Oct. 23, which features special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas as supporting acts, and will include 64 shows spanning across North America, Europe and Oceania.
