OCC presents pianist Ching-Yi Lin at the Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts Main Stage on Nov. 8 at 2 p.m.
Lin is a prize-winning pianist and educator at the Peabody Institute and Levine Music. Lin will be performing several Romantic-era pieces of music such as Schumann’s Op. 18 Arabesque and Brahm’s 7 Fantasien Op. 116. Born in Taiwan, Lin gained recognition for winning first place in the Taipei Taiwan International Piano Competition and second and third place at the 2022 Texas State International Piano Competition and the 2019 Marbella International Piano Competition. Lin has performed solos and collaborated with orchestras such as Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Central Texas Philharmonic
