The Robert J. Novins Planetarium is presenting laser shows that feature classic rock artists and
classic rock songs on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Robert J. Novins Planetarium at OCC features a 103-seat dome for many types of shows for
all ages including Laser Shows, Sky Shows, and Full Dome Movies. Past artists and songs that
have been featured in these shows include the rock bands Metallica and Queen.
Shows are presented on Friday from 7 to 8:15 p.m. and Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and feature songs and a
show to go with them. These shows continue throughout the semester.

Those who would like to attend these events are encouraged to buy tickets online at
tickets.ocean.edu or at the Planetarium’s ticket booth from 12-5 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
Tickets are $11 for adults and $9 for seniors, children 12 and under, and students and faculty
with OCC/Kean ID. Different shows will be offered on a week to week basis and the full
schedule is posted on the same website you can purchase tickets on.
The Planetarium is located on the OCC campus and is very accessible to those attending
these events. Those attending should park in Parking Lot 2 near the Grunin Center and walk up
the ramp and it’ll be Building 13 on the left and on the campus map. Those who attend are
encouraged to have a good time with some classic rock songs with a cool twist.
