Are you looking to get the inside scoop on the rare back-to-back solar eclipses of 2023 and 2024? Then the Novins Planetarium right here on campus has you covered.
The planetarium will showcase the Oct. 14, 2023 annular solar eclipse and preview the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse in the new show “Totality!” on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.
The show is approximately 25 minutes long, and it will delve into how eclipses happen, the science behind them, and how to observe them safely. It will also cover the history of eclipse chasing and the excitement that builds around these celestial events.
Since the next pair of eclipses over North America isn’t until 2045, this is truly a can’t-miss opportunity.
Tickets are available at the Novins Planetarium box office or online at the Novins Planetarium website.
