Pianist Margarita Rovenskaya to Perform at OCC

Ocean County College presents a piano recital by Margarita Rovenskaya at the Grunin Center on Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.

Rovenskaya will play on the main stage, featuring a variety of chamber music. She has performed all over the world, including recitals in Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, the Ukrainian Museum, and Teatro Machiavelli in Sicily.

Rovenskaya is the prizewinner of multiple music competitions, such as the American Music Talent Competition, Constantine the Great International Competition, Mary Smart International Concerto Competition, and the American Fine Arts Festival.

She has been playing piano since she was 6. It began in her Chicago family home, and she later earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Masters in Piano Studies.

Rovenskaya is currently based in New York, where she teaches and frequently performs.
